Description of Plumb Line: We searched high and low for our next black and white herd sire to replace Awesome Alamo and landed on this great Dickinson Cattle Company Over Kill son as the bull we thought would do the best job of bringing both the pretty qualites and the productive qualities to our herd, but we didn't know if we would actually be able to talk DCCI into selling him. Well... their desire to bring in new a new black and white pedigree led them to purchase Jet Black Chex, a 7/8's brother to our bull prospect Dynamite Chex. That purchase made them willing to part with Plumb Line, and we were the lucky beneficiaries! Plumb Line brings time tested genetics and a beautiful look to our herd. Through his sire Over Kill and grandsire Over Head, we expect him to join JR Laredo and Rolling Thunder in continuing to bring more twist into our herd. We expect him to produce good sized, well-built calves with beautiful black and white speckles. His speckled face is a major value color. His older calves at DCCI are showing very promising horn growth. Our first Plumb Line calf was a gorgeous bull born 7/10/16, and we are looking forward to many more in the fall of 2016!
