Description of Lots Of Flair: Lots Of Flair is a very exciting addition to our herd! He is our sixth herd sire from Dickinson Cattle Company, where he will be used this summer on a big group of cows before joining our herd in September of 2016. Lots Of Flair will be a big piece of our herd as we continue to breed for "Pretty and Productive" females. His and his dam's color are both beautiful, and the calves we have seen by him often have his beautiful speckles and dark pigments. He is a large bull with great beef type conformation. One of the attributes we are most excited about is the mothering ability of his dam. A big, smooth, beautiful Victory Lap daughter, she has weaned nine calves with an average 205 day weight of 489.15 pounds. This is a remarkable number, especially for a longhorn cow, and in fact it is the second best weaning weight average out of the whole Dickinson herd, a herd that is known for large bodied longhorns. With his confetti brindle speckles and big, thick body, Lots Of Flair will be a perfect compliment for our horn producing bulls Rolling Thunder and JR Laredo. With the prolific horn producer WS Jamakizm as his sire, Lots Of Flair just might produce some pretty good horn himself. We are looking forward to one day watching his beautifully colored daughters walk across our pastures with their big, fat calves in tow! Thank you Mr. Sparks! We sold Lots Of Flair after one breeding season, but we are hoping to enjoy 60-70 of his calves in the coming year between us and our customers. We plan to keep quite a few of his heifers and hopefully at least one of his sons in our program for years to come.
