Description of Lucky Duck: Lucky Duck is a beautiful bull with genetics for greatness. Delta Lucky Duck is a full brother to Delta Lucky Ace, who recently sold for $125,000. Their full sister Delta Lucky Lady has been one of the most popular cows in the breed for some time. She was PO'ed at a sale in 2015 at $140,000. This means the seller chose to keep her rather than sell her for that amount. On the dam's side, BH Sweets is a big bodied cow who produced a Patton HB son named BH Ferdinand that is a herd sire for Mike Casey's breeding program, one of the best breeding programs in the industry. The maternal line goes back to PC Cinnamon Spice, one of the prettiest cows in the breed and the dam of Black Kettle. We owned Black Kettle for a few years, and he was probably the best producer in the industry of futurity champions during his time at Lonesome Pines Ranch, prior to us buying him.
