For the second year in a row, we were lucky enough to purchase the bull we had leased for our heifers the year before. As was the case with Rolling Thunder, Augustus's dam is one of our favorite cows in the breed. El Coyote has always been one of our favorite breeding programs, and we are really excited to bring their genetics into our herd, especially through a son of one of their top two Julio Vixen daughters. We love the muscling on this bull, as well as the flashy, deep cherry red color. We expect his calves to compete very well in the show ring and to develop excellent horn by maturity. His fertility and disposition are excellent, and we look forward to watching him roam our pastures for years to come!
