Awesome Alamo is the newest addition to our herd sire lineup.
He is a horn showcase champion, and he has already proven himself as a
great producer. His first calf crop of 10 included a heifer that sold
for $25,000 and a heifer that had 53" horns at 24 months of age.
His dam is one of the best producers in the breed. One of her daughters,
SDR Candy Cane, is the highest selling cow of all time ($170,000), and
another of her daughter's, Awesome Teardrop, sold for $80,000. Alamo has
produced some incredible heifers for Panther Creek and Hudson Longhorns
and for other breeders who bought cows from them, and we are excited to
see these heifers develop into great cows in the coming years. We are
going to breed Alamo to many of our best cows. His offspring have great
conformation, horn growth and color.
