103.5" Total Horn at 2011 LWC

We really enjoyed seeing friends and meeting new ones at the 2011 Longhorn World Championships. We also enjoyed the success of JR Laredo in the horn measuring contest as he brought home two bronzes. The best part of the weekend though was when we purchased what we thought was the best looking mature bull at the event. Richy was the biggest bodied bull, had some of the best color, and had the second best total horn measurement at the event. He placed ahead of the popular bulls Top Caliber, WS Jamakizm, and JP Rio Grande. He also beat legends Gun Smoke and Hunts Command Respect who were in the oldest class. We are going to put Richy with many of our best cows and are excited about the impact he will have on our herd! We are thankful to Tom Christopher for selling us this magnificent bull!
