We are extrememly grateful to Hickman Longhorns for selling us this amazing bull! His dam Creole Dixie Lee is one of the most magnificent females in the breed. She is a big cow with amazing long, twisty horns. Thunder is a big bull, measuring around 60" at the hip. His horns measured 70" tip to tip before his third birthday. He has color to burn! We also feel very good about the maternal traits he will pass on. We were lucky enough to lease Thunder prior to purchasing him, and he bred his heifers very quickly. We just couldn't be happier about what he brings to our herd. We are excited about the opportunity to combine Creole Dixie Lee and Hatch's Candy Cane in the same pedigree when breeding Thunder to our Alamo daughters. They are two of the very best cows in the breed but the genetics of each, and especially Creole, are hard to come by.
